The STS2 series ring terminal temperature sensors are available with robust moulded housings as standard with M3 & M4 fixings. 

The NTC thermistor sensor is embedded inside the over-moulded design which results in a fast thermal responsiveness.

This type of housing combines good electrical isolation as well as thermal insulation, this aides in minimising heat loss from the sensor helping to minimise heat-loss away from the sensor.
