An NTC thermistor (Negative Temperature Coefficient thermistor) is a type of temperature sensor made of ceramic materials that exhibits a decrease in resistance as the temperature increases. Characteristics of NTC...
PT100 and PT1000 are part of the RTD range , RTDs are a temperature sensor range which stands for Resistive Temperature Devices.
RTDs include the PT1000 or PT100 and selection of these elements depends n the application and resistances required.

PT1000 or PT100
The PT100 and PT1000 are referenced at 0°C Celsius meaning the resistance is 100Ω at 0°C and 1000Ω at °C respectively.
PT are considered linear especially when compared to Thermistors, Although in relative terms there are almost linear.
PT100 and PT1000 are known for their superior accuracy and ease of integration however this impact cost , they are generally more expensive than Thermistors.
