Description

The TT4-PT100B is a robust Class B PT100 RTD temperature sensor designed for reliable temperature measurement over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +200°C.

The sensor uses a durable 316 stainless steel capped probe, providing a strong and compact solution for industrial and general-purpose temperature measurement.

The 50 mm long × 6 mm diameter probe is suitable for installations where a compact stainless-steel temperature sensor is required.

The sensor is supplied with a 1.4 m cable, providing convenient connection to temperature controllers, PLCs, data acquisition equipment and other PT100-compatible instrumentation.

PT100 RTD Technology

PT100 sensors are platinum resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) with a nominal resistance of 100 Ω at 0°C.

The electrical resistance of the platinum element changes predictably with temperature. This allows PT100 sensors to provide accurate and repeatable temperature measurements when connected to suitable RTD instrumentation.

The Class B specification provides a defined accuracy tolerance and makes the TT4-PT100B suitable for a wide range of industrial temperature measurement applications.
